The Groenlandberg Pinot Noir is sourced from a selection of south-facing vineyards situated between 430m and 470m above sea level. There is minimal intervention in the cellar. Whole-bunch fermentations, gentle punch downs and a careful approach to oak maturation, create a delicate Pinot that expresses wonderful fruit and a strong sense of place.
This wine has a soft, salmon pink colour and is bursting with aromas of strawberries and rose petals. The palate is vibrant with a good balance between bright acidity and flavours of Turkish delight, strawberries and red cherries.
The nose shows intense stone fruit and white pear, with hints of zesty citrus and perfume. The palate is rich and dense, with concentrated flavours of pineapple, green melon and honey. The palate is fresh yet full, with a long, intense finish.
