The Craft
The essential ingredients in Indlovu gin are derived from elephant dung that is washed and dried. The extracted botanicals are then infused into the gin, which provides unique African flavors.

The nose reveals dried florals, fresh red fruits of strawberry and cranberry and inviting savory earthiness. The palate is delicate but has freshness and depth with prominent flavors of pomegranate and strawberry.
This wine is graciously full bodied with bold, yet smooth tannin that carries the flavours of mixed dark berries through to the long and spicy aftertaste. A hint of cigar box and cloves add to the endless depth and complexity of this abundant wine.
Although this wine can be enjoyed with a substantial beef fillet and pepper sauce right now, it will only improve over time and will benefit from aging 10 to 18 years.
With it’s brilliant ruby color, vibrant cherry-red hues and nice legs, the La Famille Merlot has inviting aromas of ripe red fruits such as plums and raspberries, and just a hint of mocha latte. Extremely elegant and well balanced with flavours of black cherry, red berries, and chocolate, this beautifully structured and integrated wine has soft tannins for a smooth, silky finish.
The serious, yet pleasant tannins progresses through the development of the mid palate to the long and fruity finish effortlessly. Subtle flavours of ripe plum and black berry keeps the senses excited and livens the tastebuds for a pleasurable experience.
The Groenlandberg Pinot Noir is sourced from a selection of south-facing vineyards situated between 430m and 470m above sea level. There is minimal intervention in the cellar. Whole-bunch fermentations, gentle punch downs and a careful approach to oak maturation, create a delicate Pinot that expresses wonderful fruit and a strong sense of place.
