The Groenlandberg Pinot Noir is sourced from a selection of south-facing vineyards situated between 430m and 470m above sea level. There is minimal intervention in the cellar. Whole-bunch fermentations, gentle punch downs and a careful approach to oak maturation, create a delicate Pinot that expresses wonderful fruit and a strong sense of place.
This rich and flavourful Pinotage shows upfront fruit sweetness with plum, banana and fruitcake aromas. The sweet and juicy tannins are complemented by hints of chocolate and strawberries. The palate is seductively soft and salacious with a long and gentle finish.
Enjoy this South African wine with fillet, beef or risotto dishes however it can be just as fine when savored by itself.
This vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon exudes aromas of raspberry, mulberry and cracked black pepper with hints of cigar box, herbs and cedery oak. The well balanced tannin structure ensures a full and lingering finish.
This wine is graciously full bodied with bold, yet smooth tannin that carries the flavours of mixed dark berries through to the long and spicy aftertaste. A hint of cigar box and cloves add to the endless depth and complexity of this abundant wine.
Although this wine can be enjoyed with a substantial beef fillet and pepper sauce right now, it will only improve over time and will benefit from aging 10 to 18 years.
