Just a little closed but with hidden power and showing blackcurrant and blackberry fruit and a hint of white pepper and spice. Velvety spiced plum and berry fruit balance perfectly with the oak and ripe dry tannins. Excellent balance and structure with a long savory finish.

Niel Joubert ShirazClassical varietal aromas of leather, tobacco roll, prunes, cloves, black pepper and game meat, all rounded off by a subtle hint of dark chocolate. The palate is medium bodied, with well integrated tannins and complementary oak nuances. The flavours follow through nicely from the nose, with notes of spice, purple fruits and raspberries. The wine has a juicy fruit core with a satisfying, dry finish.
