Shipping Policy
At South African Wine USA, we take great care to ensure your order arrives safely and in perfect condition. All alcoholic beverages are shipped via climate-controlled delivery to protect product quality.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to select states within the United States. Due to state-by-state alcohol shipping regulations, delivery availability may vary. If we are unable to ship to your location, you will be notified during checkout.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and order weight. Rates vary by destination and package size.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
- Standard Shipping: 5-10 business days
- Florida Delivery: 3-5 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on carrier schedules, weather conditions, and other factors beyond our control. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days.
Climate-Controlled Delivery
All shipments are handled with climate-controlled packaging to maintain optimal storage temperatures during transit. This ensures your wines and spirits arrive in the same condition they left our facility.
Shipping Insurance
We offer optional shipping insurance at checkout for $15. This covers your order against loss or damage during transit. If shipping insurance is not purchased, South African Wine USA is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs after the order is handed to the shipping carrier.
We strongly recommend shipping insurance for:
- High-value orders
- Orders during extreme weather conditions
- Shipments to areas with known delivery challenges
Signature Required
All orders containing alcoholic beverages require an adult signature (21+) upon delivery. The carrier will not leave packages unattended. Please ensure someone of legal drinking age is available to receive and sign for your order.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor your delivery status.
Delivery Issues
If you experience any issues with your delivery, including damaged packaging, missing items, or delivery delays, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@southafricanwineusa.net.
For undeliverable packages (incorrect address, no one available to sign), additional re-delivery fees may apply and will be the customer's responsibility.
