Seamless. Seamlessness is the perfect description of the development of the prominent but pleasant tannins, which caresses the palate, builds through the mid palate and gently tapers off through the long and fruit filled aftertaste. Flavours of dark berries, plums and cedar wood accompanies the fruity tannins all the way through its development.
This famous red blend shows aromatic layers of plum, cherry and tobacco with undertones of fresh strawberry on the nose. The palate is lively with nuances of dark chocolate, dried spice and aniseed, accompanied by the perfectly integrated tannin structure and a lingering finish.
KWV Roodeberg Black is a beautiful, deep dark red color with a bouquet of red and black fruits, with lingering aromas of mocha and vanilla. Intense aromas of dark fruits and toasted oak.

Colour: Deep ruby centre with a clear red edge. Nose: A beautiful collaboration of the typical characteristics of the cultivars, prune juice, ripe cherries, mulberry, cigar box, cloves and graphite. Palate: This approachable wine has beautiful ripe, soft and silky tannins with good balance and a lingering finish. Black cherry, fresh raspberries, tobacco, herbaceous notes and pencil shavings are prominent. Balanced acidity and vibrant flavours complement this elegant wine.

Aromatic scents of raspberry, red cherry, red plums and boiled sweets dominate the nose, while an underlying tone of mixed herbs and white pepper add further interest. The palate is light and fresh, with silky tannins and a vibrant acidity. Plush flavours of crunchy red currants are underpinned by a lovely savoury edge. A dry, elegant wine with lingering notes of ripe cherries on the finish. Serve slightly chilled to enhance the red berry fruit spectrum.
